XB00 OHDIEANGE to accept the dedication ~or public uss for street purposes :swoOd AYenue, from the northerly line of Detroit Aver~ue northward a ~stanee ef 87~.29 feet. ~ERi~AS, Lakewood Avenue, from the northerly street line Of Detroit Avenue ~orthward, a distance ef about 87~,29 feet, has Been open as a public ~tghway for the unrestricted use Of the public for a number of years, and certain plat and deeds have been executed and recorded with reference ~/tc said street, and said street has been used by the public as a public highway, and ~{ER~AS, property swners 1costed cn the west side ~f said street request the City of Lakewood to improve said street as a public highway by cer- tain improvements, now therefore, BE.IT ORDAINi{D by the council ef the City of Lakewoed, State ef Ohio: $ectien 1~ That the dedication to public use for street purposes ef Lakewood Avenue from the northerly line of Detroit Avenue nortl~ard, land more fully described ~s follows: said Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, and known as being p~rt of Origin~l Rockport Township, Section 21, bounded and described as follows: Beginning at a ~tone in the north line of Detroit Avenue north 84" 1]~ 30# west a distance ef 2~1,27 feet from the center line of Cove Avenue, said point of beginning being further described as being in the easterly line of land conveyed by Benjamin F. Johnson, Executor and Tr:~stee to William ~ Eliz~M. Csshran by deed ~ted December ~1, 1909 and recorded in Volume 1226, Page 64 ef Cuyanoga County Record; thence from said point ef beginning north l° 28~ ]0" west a distance of 68].90 feet to a stone in the west line of Smith's Allotment as recorded in Volume 7, Page 1~, Cuyahoga County Map Records, ~ay 28, thence in the west line of said Smith's Allotment north 1° 22' 20" west a dista~e of 194.78 feet to a point in the southerly line of the right-of-way of the New York.
