ORDINANCE ~0. ~808 <br /> <br />By Mr~ Hart <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE authorizing the sale of personal property not <br />needed for any municipal purpose, and declaring an emergency, <br /> <br />~:~A~, the Mayor and Director of Public Safety has reported <br />that three motorcycles heretofore used in the Department of <br />Public Jafety. Division of Police. are in such condition as to <br />be no longer useful or needed for any municipal purpose, the <br />estimated value thereof being less than $~00.00, and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is necessary for the immediate prewervation of the <br />public safety and property that said three motorcycles be sold <br />immediately, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED ~y the Council of the City of Lakewood, two-thirds <br />of all members elected thereto concurring:- <br /> <br />Section 1: That the Mayor be and he is hereby authorized to sell, <br />in the manner provided by law, three motorcylcles heretofore used <br />in the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, and to <br />deposit the money derived from such sale with the Director of Finance <br />to be credited to the Safety Fund. <br /> <br />Section 2: That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and therefore <br />sh~ll be in effect forthwith upon its passage and approval by the <br />Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: March 20, 1922 <br /> <br />L.
