ORDINANOE NO. ~192 By Mr, Reidy AN ORDINANCE declaring the necessity for and the intention to appro- priate,to public uae for hospital purposes certain property herein described, and declaring an emergency. %~EREAS it is necessarU for the immediate p~eservation of public property health and safety, and to provide for the usual daily oper- ation of a Municipal Depar~ment, that thiA land be acquired at once, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAZNEDlry the Council of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, two-thi~ds of all members thereof concurring:- Section 1. That an absolute estate in fee simple in the following described p~emiees be and the same is hereby appropriated for public use fop hospital purposes: Situated in Section 21 Original Roek~ort ?ownship (now in the City of Lakewood) Cuyahogs County, Ohio. Beginning at a point in ~he intersection of the northePly line of Franklin Avenud (60 feet wide) as shown by the plat of ~he Wood Site Land Company's Perkwood Subdivision, recorded on page 32, Volume 65 Cuyahoga County Record of Plats, and th'e westerly line of BPewer, F~ench and Kees Allotment as shown by the Plat recorded on Page 17, Volume 26, Cuy~hoga County Recoi~d ,of Plats, thence in the westeVl~ line of Brewer, French & Koss' allotment as aforesaid, north 0 ~6~ AO" east 474.35 feet to a point; ihenoe due west 405,70 feet to.a point in the easterly line of Bunts Hoed (~0 feet wide); thence in the easterly line of Bunts Road due south 3B3.44 feet to a point of curve; as shown by the plat of the aforesaid Wood Site Lsn~ Company, s Subdivision: thence in the northerly line of Franklin Avenue ~y the arc of a curve deflecting to the east;~' whose radius ia 20.00 feet and long chord 23.60 feet and bears south 36° ~ 13" east an are distance of 25.2& feet to a point of compound curve; thence by the arc of a curve deflecting to the north whose ~adius is 1574.00 feet, long Chord 393.32 feet and Bears south ?90 29~ 05" east an arc distance of 394.35 feet to the place of beginning, containing 4,063 acres. Section 2. That the Dix~ctor of Law be and he is hereby authorized and directed to apply to a Court of competent ~urisdiction to have a Jury tmpanelld~ to m~ke inquiry into and assess compensation to be paid for such estate in fee s~mple. Section 3.
