The 0ouncilmay from time to time on its own motion or <br />on petition amend Ordinance No. 1786 in the manner p~ovided in the char~er of the <br />City of I~k~wOOde <br /> <br />~l~enever the City Planning 0~m~Ission decides on a public hearing, <br />it shall cause written notice to be sent to the pro~erty owners within <br />an area of t~o hundred feat of the property under consideration for <br />changing the classification, and in the event the City Pla~tug0o-w.tesion <br />declines or fails to arrange for a public hearing and the Council decides <br />to take action on its own motion, then the Council shall request the <br />pl.~n4ng C~mmtssion ~o hold public hee~ing and make its recommendation <br />to Council before the Council takes any action upon such petition. <br /> <br />The Council shall act on~en~ request presented to it concerning the zoning <br />ox~li~ance within ~tnety (90) days after the petition is filed~" <br /> <br />Section 2e This Ordi~*~ce shall be in full force a~d effect at the earliest <br />period allowed by lawe <br /> <br />Adopted: Dec. 21, 1931e <br /> <br />~ames Gormsen~ President <br /> <br />Approved: Ae Ie ~lfl~lan, Acting Mayor Ac I.
