Pag0 ~B ~ <br /> S°ction 4, It shall bo lawful to oporato,~naintain or <br />conduct a barber shop in which tho view to tho interior is obEtruct- <br />od by tho usc of blinds, shades, screens, painted or frosted glass, <br />or ~ny other dovicb to prevent a free and unobstructed view fro~ <br />tho outside of such barber shop. <br /> <br /> No barber shop licensed hereunder shall bo <br />open for tho business of barbering for revenue, pay, free or other- <br />wise, before eight o~clock a. ~. and after six thirty o'clock p.~. <br />on thc following days, to-wit: Non~y, Tuesday, Thursday and <br />Friday of each week, or bo open for business bofbro eight o~clock <br />a. m~ or after twelve o'clock noon on Wednesday of each and every <br />week, or bo open for business before eight o~clock A. H. and after <br />eight o'clock p. m. on Saturday of each and every wool:. <br /> <br /> In addition to Sundays, all barber sharps, as <br />heroin defined, shall bo closed on thc following h61idays, to-wit: <br />New Year's Day, Decoration D~y, Fourth of Jt~y, Labor Day, Thanks- <br />giving D~ and Christmas. All shops may bo open from eight o'clock <br />a. m. to sight o'clock p.m. except Suudays, on any day preceding tho <br />aforementioned holidays. <br /> <br /> Section 5.~ Tho cormuissioncr of health may at any time <br />rocor, m~ond tho rovocc~tf~n of any license, under tho terms of tho fore- <br />going sections, whenever it shall s®poar to his s~tisfaction tha$ tho <br />licensee has violated tho provisions ~f any law of tho St~to of Ohio, <br />or any ordinance of tho City of LaI:o o od, relating to tho carrying <br />on of tho business nancd in such license. <br /> <br /> Section 6. V~onovor any license provided for herin <br />shall bo refused or revoked by tho co~issionor of hoa~lth or tho <br />license clerk or other proper official duly empowered so to do, such <br />licensee may appeal fror.~ such order or refusal or revocation to a <br />board of appeals composed of tho director of public safety, tho <br />director of law and tho city engineer, s~nd in tho absence of any one <br />or ~oro of such directors then of tho next ranking official of tho <br />said department ~ <br /> <br /> Notice of such appeal shs~ll bo in writing <br />and delivered to tho conm.~issionor of health within ton days froz~ tho <br />making of such order or refusal or revocation, Tho board of <br />appeals shall fix thc time of hearing of such appeal, at which hoar- <br />ing all parties interested shall bo afforded ~n opportunity to bc <br />hoard, and said board of appeals may sustain, disapprove or modify <br />such order and its decision shall bo final. <br /> <br /> Section 7. Any person, firn or corporation conducting <br />a barber shop as defined in Section 1. contrary to tho provisions <br />of any of thc forogoin~ sections, upon conviction, Shall bo fined <br />not loss than five dol~ars(~.OO) nor moro than 6no hundred ollars <br />($100.O0) for each offense and every day that such violation shall <br />continue shall constitute a separate and distinct offense. <br /> <br /> Socbion 8. Ail sections of this ordinance and each part <br />thereof are hereby declared to bo independent sections and parts of <br />sections and tho holding of any section or part thereof, or tho <br />application to any person or circunstanco, to bo invalid or in- <br />effective, shall not affect any L~thor section or part thereof or tho <br />application of any section or part thereof to other persons or <br />circumstances. <br /> <br /> Section ~.
