ORDINANCE NO. 3726' BY Mrs. Spalding <br /> <br /> AN Ei~RGENCY ordinance authorizing the settle- <br />ment of claim of Mrs. Anna LaLonde, for injuries sustained <br />by her by falling on defective sidewalk. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Mrs. Anna LaLon~ was injured Ma~ch 28th <br />1937, by falling on a defective sidewalk and an emergency <br />has arisen to settle said claim~ promptly and to provide <br />for the usual daily operation of a municipal de~rtment.. <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LAKEW00D, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all <br />members thereof concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the settlement of the claim of <br />~,~rs. Anna LaLonde, for the sum of One Hundred Dollars ($100.00) <br />is hereby authorized, upon the execution of release, duly <br />approved by the Director of Law. The Director of Finance <br /> ) hereby auth~mized to pay said amount upon the delivery to <br />nlm of proper release duly ~xecuted and approved and to <br />charge s~me to General Fund. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
