ORDINANCE No. 3733 by Mr. Thompson <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to supplement Ordinance No. 3674 entitled° "An ordinance <br />granting to Lakewood Rapid Transit, Inc., the authority, right and privilege <br />to establish, maintain and operate a motor bus transportati,n system in the <br />City of Lakewood, Ohio, for the transportation of passengers for hire, <br />over a specified route, and fixing the rates of fare and terns and conditions <br />of such grant for a period beginning on the effective date of this ordinance <br />and ending on the 1st day of July 1947", to provide certain bus service for <br />the pupils of Lakewood High School. <br /> <br /> NOW THEF~FORE, ~E IT ORDAINED E~ THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY C~ LAF~wOOD, <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That ordinance No. 3674 entitled "An ordinance granting to <br />Lakewood Rapid Transit, Inc., the authority, right and privilege to establish, <br />maintain and operate a motor bus transportation system in the City of Lakewond <br />Ohio, for the transportation of passengers for hire, over a specified route, <br />and fixing t~e rates of fare and terms and conditions of such grant for a <br />period ~eginning on the effective date of this ordinance and ending on the <br />1st day of July 1947" be supplemented as follows: <br /> <br /> The Lakewood Rapid Transit, Inc., is hereby granted the authority, <br />right and privilege to establish, maintain and operate a motor bus transportation <br />system on Delaware Avenue from its intersection ~ith Hilliard Road to Brown <br />Road, on Brown Road to Athens Avenue and on Athens Avenue to Bunts Road; thence <br />to Lakewood High School at the corner of Bunts Road and Franklin Avenue for the <br />transportation of pupils and othersJdesiring to go to or frc~ said school. <br /> <br /> That Such busses shall be operated at such times as may be necessary <br />for the traffic occasioned by said school, and the rate of transpor, tation <br />shall be the same as that charged by Lakewood Rapid Transit, Inc., for a ride <br />within the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> Section 2. Ail other provisions of said Ordinance No, 3674 applicable <br />hereto shall be and remain in full force and effect. <br /> <br /> Section 3, This ordinance shall be in full force and effect upon its <br />passage and approval and at the earliest time allowed by law.
