ORDT~ANCE No. 3734 <br /> <br />BY Mr. Fairgrieve <br /> <br /> AN E~'-~RGENCT ORDINANCE authoriZing the Director of <br />Finance to pay to Dr. L. F. Huffman, 17903 Lake Avenue, <br />Lakewood, 0hio~ the sum of One Hundred Sixteen Dollars and <br />Twenty Cents ($116.20) in fulI settlement of his claim against <br />the City of Lakewood on account of expense in repairing sewer <br />at 17903 Lake Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio. <br /> <br /> ';~EREAS, at a meeting of Council February 21st 1938, <br />aCtion was taken to allow Dr. L. F.Huffman, 17903 Lake Avenue, <br />Lakewood, One Hundred Sixteen Dollars and Twenty Cents ($116.20) <br />for this claim, and <br /> <br /> ~i~EREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the Usual <br />daily operation of a municipal depgrtment. <br /> <br /> NOW, TI{EREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE <br />CITY OF LAK~OOD, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all members <br />thereof concurring: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he <br />is hereby authorized to _~ay to Br. L. F.Huffman, 17903 Lake <br />Avenue, Lakewood, 0h~o_ the s~n of One Hundred Sixteen Dollars <br />and Twenty Cents ($116.20) in full settlenBnt of his claim <br />against the City of Lake~od on account of expense in reoair~g <br />sewer at 1790~ L~ke Avenue, Lakewood, Ohio, upon receipt~of <br />satisfactory release signed by said Dr. L. F. Huffman, releasing <br />the City of LakeW°od from any and all further liabilities in <br />connection therewith. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the amount set forth in Section 1 <br />hereof be paid from the City Portion Sewer Fund as set forth in <br />0 ' <br /> rdznance No. 366~, adopted by this Council, Ns~ch 15th 1937. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
