ORDINANCE N0.3756 BY Mr. LaJcak AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Director of Finance to pay to ¥~. Fred A. Genck, 1496 West Sixth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, the sum of Seventeen Dollar~ and Fifty,Eight Cents {$17.§8) in full settlement of his claim against t~e City of Lakewood for damages to his automobil~ caused by loose brick striking his car while driving north in Bunts Road near Franklin Boulevard on May 21st 1938. WP~HEAS, at a meeting of Council July 5th 1938, action was taken to allow Mr. Fred A. Genck, Seventeen Dollars and Fifty-Eight Cents ($1~.58) for this claim; and ~tEREAS, a~ emergency exists to provide for the usual dally operation of a municipal department arising out o~ the necessity of settling said claim promptly; now THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY TEE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF 0HI0, two-thirds of all members thereof concurring: Section 1. That the Director of Finance be and he is hereby authorized to pay to Mr. Fred A. Genek, 1498 West Sixth Avenue, Columbus, Ohio, the sum of Seventeen Dollars and Fifty-Eight Cents ($17.58) in full settlement of his claim against the City of Lakewood for damages to his automobile caused by loose brick striking bls car while driving north in Bunts Road near Franklin Boulevard on ~,~ay 21st 1938, upon receipt of s~tisfactory release signed by said Mr. Fred. A. Genck, re- leasmng the City of Lakewood from any and all further liabilities in connection therewith. Section 2, That the amount set forth in Section 1 hereof be paid fr~n the General Fund 1-M (Damages paid by City). Section ~.
