VZIiEREAS, The Cleveland Railway Company, an Ohio corporation, here- inafter sometimes referred to as the "Company", for many }ears has operated street rails^:a},~ and motor coach lines in the City of Lakevrood under franchise and licensing ordinances; and Va"IIEREAS, it is proposed to establish express motor coach service on a new route or routes on terms and conditions hereinafter provided; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TILE COLThTCIL OF TFE CITY Or^ LAKE`1'OOD, OHIO: SECTION la The Company is hereby granted, on the terms and condi- tions herein set Forth, the right for three months after filing its acceptance of the terms and conditions of this ordinance as hereinafter provided and thereafter until terminated in the manner hereinafter provided, to maintain and operate motor coach lines for the cx~rriage of passengers for hire upon the following route or routesa From a point on Hilliard Road not further west than its inter- section with hoodward Avenue and. not fz;rther er,st than its inter- section with P.:adison Avenue, the point between these limits to be subject to designatior. and change by the 1="ayor of the Cite of Lake- wood; thence eastwardly over Hilliard Road and Franklin Boulevard to ~h'est 110th Street; thence north on "est 110th Street to naltic ?oad; thence eastwardly via Baltic Road to Clifton Boulevard; thence continu- ing easterly on Clifton Boulevard to the entrance of Edgewater Park; thence eastwardly through Edgewater Park via Bulkley Boulevard, Pain Avenue Bridge and Lakeside Avenue to V,'est 3rd Street; thence south on Vuest 3rd Street to Superior Avenue; thence easterly via Superior Avenue, u:'est Roadway and Euclid Avenue to East 18th Street; thence south to Prospect Avenue; thence westerly via Frospect Avenue, East 14th Street, Euclid Avenue, East Roadway, Superior Avenue, and thereafter over the streets follotived in the eastbound route, but in the reverse order, to the place of beginning. After 9 A. AF. and until 4:30 P. t`. the Compan~~ shall route its eastbound coaches nortt:erly over tTictorie Avenue, from its inter- section with Hilliard Road to Detroit Avemze, thence eastwardly to '~7arren Road,. thence southerly to Franklin Avenz~e and thence east- vrardl~r over tl-:e route above described. Said route or routes in the City of Le..k-etvood shall be suh~ect to such changes as may be mutually agreed to b^ said city and the Company. In the event of any temporary obstrn.etion of any route or routes, the detour to be used shall be determined by the T'ayor. SECTIOPT 2: The Company shall maintain and operate adeauate motor coach transportation service for the public over the route or routes hereinbefore specified or over any route changed in accord- ance w2th the provisions of the preceding section. She service shall not be deemed adequate unless the operation of motor coaches shall be maintained at least as frequently as re- quired by the minimum schedule hereinafter set forth; unless such operation shall he maintained regularly in accordance vaith published schedules; unless a sufficient number of coaches of sufficient
