ORDINANCE NO. 4628 ~ Mr. Quinn <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE dedicating a certain parcel of land, known as the Hall <br />Property, as a public park, to be known as "Hall Park". <br /> <br /> WHER~S, by authority of Ordinance No. 4203, adopted October 4, 1943~ <br />the city acquired the property known as the Hall Property at 16913 Detroit Avenue <br />for park purposes, now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED B~ THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAXE~OOD, STATE OF OHIOz <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the property, known as the Hall Property, located at <br />16913 Detroit Avenue, and f,,l~y described as <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood~ County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio~ and <br />known as Being part of Original Rockport Township Section No.23, more parti- <br />cularly described as <br /> <br /> Beginning at a print in the center line of Detroit Avenue, 66 feet in width, <br /> distant South 88u 42' 30" East 132 52/100 feet from the intersection of said <br /> center line of Detroit Avenue with the center line of Cordova Avenue~ 4~ feet <br /> in width; thence South Oo 9' West parallel to the center line of Cordova Avem,e, <br />· passing through a mon~,=~nt in the Southerly line of Detroit Ave~me, 528 76/100 <br />feet to a monument; thence South 89° 51' East at right angles to the last ~les- <br />criBed line 265 feet to a monument; thence North Oo 9'East passing through a <br />monument in the ~outherly ]{-e of Detroit Avenuee 523 49/100 feet to the center <br />line of Detroit A%enue~ thence North 8§o 42' 30" West along the center line of <br />Detroit Avenue, 26% O5/1OO feet to the place of Beginning, containing 3 2008/10,O00 <br />acres of land, as more particularly appears on the plat of The Mathews and <br /> Gilbert Subdivision No.3, recorded in Volume 29 of Maps, Page 5 of Cuyahoga <br /> County Records, be the same more or less, hut subject to all legal high.~ys <br /> <br />Be and the same is hereby dedicated and designated as "Hall Park". <br /> <br /> Section 2.
