ORDINANCE NO. 4684 BY Mr. Vickery <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE creating positions and ftw~ng the salaries of <br />the Civil Service Comm~sSion beginning June 1, 1950 and repealing Ordinance <br />No. 4083 adopted June 29, 1942 and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances <br />inconsistent herewith. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily oper- <br />ation of a municipal department, %*-wit~ Civil Service Commission, now therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT 0~dlAINED BY THE 00UNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAEEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO~ <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Civil Service Comissinn shall be composed <br /> of three commissioners and one secretary, who shall receive the <br /> following salaries ~ <br /> <br />(a) Three (3) C~mmissioners . Salary $600.00 each~ <br /> <br /> (b) One (1) Secretary - Salary $900.00 per annum. <br /> <br />Section 2. The salaries herein fixed shall be paid in equal <br />monthly ins~allmer~s. <br /> <br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the re.asons stated in the ~eamble <br />provided it receives __ and <br /> the affarmative vote of two-thirds (2/3f <br />of all members elected to Council and is approved by the Ms, or, <br />it shall take effect June 1, 1950 and Ordinance No. 4083 and <br />all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent here- <br />with shall be and are hereby repealed. <br /> <br />Adopted~ May 15~ 1950 <br /> <br />Wm.
