ORDINANCE NO. 4698 BY Mro Vickery <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to repeal Ordinance No. 4688 adopted by the Council of the <br />City of Lakewood on June 5, 1950. <br /> <br /> WHER3AS, a referendum petition has been filed requiring this Council, <br />pursuant to Article X Section 16 of the Charter, to reconsider Ordinance No. 4688; <br />and in connection with which reconsideration this ordinance has been submitted, <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LA,WOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section lo That ordinance No. 4688, adopted June 5, 1950, and reading: <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE to amend Ordinance No. 1786, entitled "An Ordinance <br />providing for the zoning or districting of the City of Lakewood and <br />the regUlation of the location, bulk, height and uses of buildings <br />and ether structures and premises, and repealing Ordinance No. t479", <br />by changing and revising the Zone Map with respect to the property lo- <br />cated on the westerly side of St. Charles Avenue a.s hereinafter more <br />particularly described. <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF <br />OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That Ordinance No. 1786 be amended and sUpPlemented <br />by changing and revising the Zone Map to the extent that the property <br />located on the westerly side of St. Charles Avenue in the City of <br />Lakewood within the following described territory. <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga~ State <br />of Ohio, being part of original Rockport Township Sec. No. <br />22, and further described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning in the center line of St. Charles Avenue at its <br />intersection with the easterly prolongation of the northerly <br />line of sublot No. 64, of the Onondaga Park Subdivision, <br />as recorded in Vol. 68 page 34 of Ouyahoga County Map <br />Records; <br /> <br />Thence from said place of beginning northerly along the <br />center line of St. Charles Avenue about 625 feet to the <br />southerly line of lands zoned for "Retail Business. (2a- <br />H3 - <br /> <br />Thence westerly along said southerly line 182 feet to an <br />angle point therein; <br /> <br />Thence southerly parallel to the center line of St. Charles <br />Avenue about 625 feet to the northerly line of said sublot <br />No. 64 in the Onondaga Park Subdivision; <br /> <br />Thence easterly along said northerly line and its prolongation <br />easterly 182 feet to the center line of St. Charles Avenue and <br />the place of beginning. <br /> <br />be, and it is hereby, reclassified and changed from "Group 1 - Residence <br />Classes - Class lA Uses" to "Group 2 - Business Classes - Class 2a Uses", <br />and from "Area District - A-2" to "Area District - A-4" and from "Heights <br />District - H-l" to "Height District - H-3", as designated and provided in <br />said ordinance No. 1786 as amended from time to time° <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the City Engineer be, and he is hereby, authorized <br />and directed to make the said changes and revisions in the original Zone <br />Map, which Zone Map with said Use, Ares and Height Districts as so changed <br />and revised is hereby declared to be a part of this ordinance. <br /> <br /> <br />
