Fairgrieve <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 133.01 of the Adminis- <br />trative Code of The Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, re- <br />lating to the work week for the Division of Police. <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency for the rea- <br />sons that it is deemed necessary in the interests of the. publ.ic wel <br />fare and safety that it take effect January 1, 1953, ant mn that it <br />provides for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, ~ <br /> <br /> RE XT ORDAINED BT THE CO~CXL OF THE CITY OF LAXE~0D, STATE <br />OF OHIO.' ~ <br /> <br /> Section 1, That section 133.O1 of the Administrative Code <br />of The Codified Ordinances of ~he City of T~ewood now reading: <br /> <br />"133.01 ~0R£ ~EEX FOR DI~ISION OF POLICE. <br /> <br /> ExCept as herei~fter provided the customary and <br /> work week of members in the Division of <br />average <br />Police__Department of Public Safety, shall be for~y- <br />four (~J+) hottrs per calendar week provided, <br />that (1) no work week shall excqed forty-eight <br />hours in any calendar week and (2) the working hours <br />of a member, including hours off duty by reason of <br />holidays, vacations, or si..ck.leave. Shall not exceed <br />one hundred and seventy-six (175) ~ours during any <br />consecutive four (~) Calendar week period.
