Section il. This ordinance shall take effect as a proposal to the <br />Com~ar~ from and after the earliest period allowed by law, and each and every <br />provision hereof shall become operative on its acceptance in writing by the <br />Company. Such written acceptance, if made, shall be forthwith mailed or delivered <br />by the Company to the Clerk of the Council of the City, s~%d when so received this <br />ordinance sh~tl constitute a valid contract binding upon said City and the Company <br />according to its terms. <br /> <br /> Section 12. At any time after August 15, 1954, the City, at its option, <br />may terminate the provisions and regulations of thais ordinance, and the contract <br />created by acceptance of this ordinance by the Company, prior to the expiration <br />of the provisions of this ordinance by lapse of tLme, by ordinance of its Council <br />duly passed, a certified copy of which shall be served upon the Compar~ at its <br />office in the City of Cleveland, which said ordinance shall specify a termination <br />date not less than three months subsequent to the date of serving such copy of such <br />ordinance; and at any time after August 15, 1954, the Company may likewise temuinate <br />the contract so created by serving written notice of such termination upon said City, <br />wh~ich notice sh~ll specify a te~nation date not less than three months subsequent to <br />the date of serving such notice; and after service of such ordinance or of such <br />Written notice, at the time therein fixed for such termination ~11 the provisions of <br />this ordinance shall cease and terminate. <br /> <br /> Section 13, The~.provisions hereof shall in all respects inure to the <br />benefit of and be binding upon said City, its successors, and the Company, its <br />successors and assigns. <br /> <br /> Section i4.
