ORDINANCE NO. 26-58 BY: Messrs. Chockley, Fahrenbach, Fairgrieve, Gaydos, Gottermeyer, Lawther, Ward. AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving bonds given by the members of the Lakewood Hospital Board of Trustees conditioned upon the faithful performance of the duties of theiroffice. WHEREAS, By statmte of the State of Ohio, the members of the Board of Hospital Trustees are each required to give bond in the s~ of $2500.00, conditioned upon the faithfml performance of their duties of their office, and WHEREAS, Thio ordinance constitutes an emergency in that com- pliance with statutory requirements is necessary at the earliest poss- ible time, and in that this ordinance is for the immediate preserva- tion of the public peace, property, health or safety, and that it pro- vides for the usual daily operation of a municipal department, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the bond of the Manufacturers Casualty Insur- ance Company, in the amount of $2500.00 foreach of the following named persons, conditioned upon the faithful performance of their duties of the office of a member of the Lakewood Hospital Board of Trustees, is hereby approved: Mayor Frank P. Celeste Mrs. Marion McNelly L. Gerard West Wm. D. Gorton Dr. Garry G. Bassett Donald H. Walton William M. Davy Anthony Poss Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
