Ward. <br /> An ordinance to establish Chapter Two of the General Offenses Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, and to enact Sections 90Z. 01 a_nd 90Z. 99 <br />thereof, relative to torturing children, and to provide a penalty. <br /> BE IT oRDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAiiEwOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> SectiOn 1. That Sections 90Z.01 and 90Z.99 be enacted and established as <br /> Chapter Two o£ the General Offenses Code of the Codified Oralnances of the City o~ <br /> Lakewood, <br /> 90Z, 01 Torturing or Neglecting children. <br /> No perSOn having the control of or being the parent or guardian of a child <br /> under t~e age of sixteen years shall witiuLly abandon such child, or <br /> torture, torment, or cruelly or unlaWfully punish him, or wiliully or <br /> negligently fail to furnish him necessary and proper food, clothing, or <br /> shelter. <br /> <br /> 90Z. 99 Pe"alty <br /> Whoever violates any of the provisions of this chapter sh~ll be fined not more <br /> ~ fifty dollars. , <br /> ~ec~ion Z.
