BE IT 0~ED ~ 'I~ C0~O~ 0F T~ CI~ 0H ~'~00D, STA~ ~' OH I0: ~cti~ 1. ~t Sectl~ 731,431 of ~e Traffi~ Oode of the Codified O~ces of ~e Oity of ~ewood be enacted as foll~s: 731.451 Accident Resulting in Damage to Realty. The driver of any vehicle involved in an accident ~osulting in damage to real property, or personal property attached to such real property, legally upon or adjacent to any street of t~e Olty of Lakewood shall 1~,mediately stop and take reasonable steps to locate and notify the ~wner o~~ person in charge of such property of such fact, of his name and his address and of t~e registra~ioa number of the vehicle he is drivin~ and shall, upon request and if available, exhibit his operator's or ehaui~feur~a license. if ~e o~uer or person in charge of such property cannot be located after reasonable serch, the driver of the vehicle involved in the accident resulting in damage to such property shall within twenty- four hours after such accident report to the police department of the City of Lakewood the same information re~Aired to be given to the owner br the person in control of such property and give the location ef the accident and description of t~he d~age in sn far as it is known.
