The general purposes and intent of the City in <br />adoption ef this Street Plan are2 <br /> <br />as <br /> <br />To provide a convenient street system to effectively <br />serve the traffic generated by the apartment develop- <br />ments an8 to facilitate the flow of traffic through and <br />aro~d the area, and <br /> <br />To solve the traffic problems for each apartment in the <br />Estates Area so that Edgewater Drive need never be ex- <br />ten~ed through the area to Nicholson Avenue, and <br /> <br />c. To control locations and number of intersections with <br /> Lake Avenue, and <br /> <br />d. To provide frontage on a public street for land zoned for <br /> apartment use, and <br /> <br />e. To eliminate extremely long private drives on which <br /> traffic and parking ca~not be effectively regulated, and <br /> <br />f. To avoid uncoordinated development of the "Estates Area". <br /> <br /> Section 2. The existing or proposed streets, or portions of <br />existing er proposed streets, designated on the Street Plan for the <br />Estates Area, which is attached hereto and marked "Exhibit'A", are <br />hereby declared te comprise the Street Plan for this sectienof the <br />City. <br /> <br /> Section 3. The public streets designated on such exhibit,, and <br />no other, shall be developed and maintained in accordance with right- <br />of-way and pavement w~dth designated thereon. <br /> <br /> Section $. No portion ef any residential building shall be <br />erected closer than designated on the map, unless shoe otherwise on <br />the zone map. <br /> <br /> <br />
