Compensation of said employees shall be paid <br />from the Hospital Fund on a bi-weekly basis as determined by the <br />Finance Department of the City of Lakewood. An hourly rate may be <br />paid which, if multiplied by the number of working hours in the <br />week and by fifty-two (Weeks), then divided by twelve (months), <br />amounts to a monthly rate which falls within the minimum and max- <br />imum range of the proper job classification established in this <br />ordinance. A daily rate may be established by multiplying by <br />eight any hourly rate determined above. The normal work weelc <br />shall be forty hours. <br /> 3a). ~hat all interns and residents shall be fur- <br />nished housing, Blue Cross coverage, meals and laundry, without <br />charge. <br /> 3b). ~hat medical technology students shall be fur- <br />nished single semi-private Blue Cross and Blue Shield coverage, <br />without charge. <br />Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof <br />and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of <br />all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force April 25, 1965, and Ordinance No. 69-62, adopted December 3, <br />1962, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent <br />herewith shall be and are hereby repealed effective April 25, 1965 <br />Adopted: April 19, 1965 <br /> John Gaydos Jr. <br /> President <br /> Mary Adams <br />Approved April 21, 1965 Clerk <br /> Robert M.
