ORDINANCE NO. 68-65 BY: Messrs. Usher, Ward, <br /> Wendling,Bennett, <br /> Cain, Gaydos, <br /> Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 175.33 <br />of the Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of <br />the City of Lakewood, adopted November 3, 1930, relating <br />to the dumping of rubbish within the City of Lakewood and <br />establishing charges therefor° <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency <br />measure providing for the usual daily operation of a muni- <br />cipal department and to provide for the health, safety and <br />welfare of the City of Lakewood; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 175o33 of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 175.33 Dumping authorized byMayor; charges <br /> <br />The Mayor as Director of Public Works may permit, at <br />his discretion, the unloading of clean sand, dirt, <br />ashes and rubbish and any other materials which are <br />now being dumped at Lakewood Park, or which may be <br />dumped at any other place used for dumping purposes <br />within the boundaries of the City of Lakewood; <br />charges for the dumping privilege shall be made as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A charge shall be made of twenty-five (25¢) for any <br />truck, wagon or any other vehicle which may be used <br />for dumping purposes and contains two tons or less; <br />a charge of fifty cents (50¢) shall be made per load <br />on any truck, wagon or any other vehicle which may <br />be used for dumping purposes and which contains not <br />less than two tons or more than five tons, with a <br />charge of one-half this rate where excavating materials <br />from public works are being installed within the City <br />limits of Lakewood" <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 175.33 Dumping authorized byMayor; charges <br /> <br />The Director of Public ~r~s may permit, at <br />his discretion, the unloadlng of clean sand, dirt, <br />ashes and rubbish and any other materials which are <br />now being dumped at Lakewood Park, or which may be <br />dumped at any other place used for dumping purposes <br />within the,boundaries of the City of Lakewood~ <br />charges for the dumping privilege shall be made as <br />follows: <br /> <br />A charge at the rate of Five Dollars ($5.00) per ton <br />shall be made for all such materials brought to the <br /> <br /> <br />
