ORDINANCE NO. 72-65 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. <br /> <br />Usher, Ward, <br />Wendling, Bennett, <br />Cain, Gaydos, <br />Huffman. <br /> <br /> AN E~RGENCYORDINANCE approving certain Change <br />Order in connection with the Contractfor the construction <br />of Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Council has heretofore authorized the <br />Director of Public Works to enter into an Agreement with <br />the Kahn Plumbing and Heating Company for the construction <br />of Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, Under the terms of such Agreement, changes <br />become necessary, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, The Council desires to take advantage of <br />certain changes in Construction Agreement, and, <br /> <br /> kK4EREAS, The adoption of this Ordinance at the earliest <br />possible time is necessary for the preservation of the Public <br />peace, property, health or safety and that it provides for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1o That the item described in Bulletin No. 1 <br />prepared by Woodruff and Associates, Consultants, be added to <br />the Contract hereinbefore entered into by the City with the <br />Kahn Plumbing and Heating Company with reference to the con- <br />struction of the Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements, Lakewood, <br />Ohio, and that the net cost of the Change Order contained in <br />said Bulletin No. 1 is in the amount of $1,056~00; that said <br />addition and change to construction has been generally referred <br />to as furnishing and installing four (4) three inch (3") floor <br />drains in "Equipment Room NOo 6" of the Operations Building <br />including piping to gutters in basement° <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Public Works is hereby <br />authorized and directed to approve said Change Order. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That the net cost of such Change Order, in <br />the amount of $1,056.00 be financed out of the proceeds of sale <br />of the Sewage Treatment Plant Improvement Bonds° <br /> <br /> Section 4.
