ORDINANCE NO. 81-65 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher, Ward, Wend.ling, Bennett, Cain, Gaydos. AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropria- tions for current expenses and other expenditures of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending December 31, 1965. WHEREAS, An emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the additional revenues as set forth in rheA mended Official Certificate of Estimated Resources received from the Budget Commission of Cuyahoga County dated November 9, 1965, previously unappropriated as follows: Parking Meter Fund $ 120,000.00 Water Fund, C.O..D. 60,000.00 Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, provided the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor.
