ORDINANCE NO. 81-65 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher, <br /> Ward, Wend.ling, <br /> Bennett, Cain, <br /> Gaydos. <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropria- <br />tions for current expenses and other expenditures of the City <br />of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1965. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, An emergency exists to provide for the <br />immediate preservation of the public property, health and <br />safety and to provide for the usual daily operation of <br />municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That there is hereby appropriated the <br />additional revenues as set forth in rheA mended Official <br />Certificate of Estimated Resources received from the Budget <br />Commission of Cuyahoga County dated November 9, 1965, <br />previously unappropriated as follows: <br /> <br />Parking Meter Fund <br /> <br />$ 120,000.00 <br /> <br />Water Fund, C.O..D. <br /> <br />60,000.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the Director of Finance be and is <br />hereby authorized to draw checks upon the City depositories <br />for the amounts appropriated in this ordinance whenever <br />claims are presented properly approved by the head of the <br />department for which the indebtedness is incurred, provided <br />the President of Council shall approve all claims of the City <br />Council. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the <br />preamble, and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds (2/3) of all members elected to Council, it shall <br />take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption <br />and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:.November 15, 1965 <br /> <br />John Gaydos~ Jr. <br /> President <br /> <br />Approved: ~ovember 17~ 1965 <br /> <br />.MaUy Adams <br /> <br />Robert Mo Lawther <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
