That section 32~21(b) of the Sanitary <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br />raading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 329.21(b) .~ife.quards. A sufficient number o. <br />attendants shall be on duty when the swimming pool <br />is in use who shall be capable swimmers, competent <br />in life-saving methods and resuscitation. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 329.21(b) Lifequards. A sufficient number <br />of attendants shall be on duty when the swi~ing pool <br />is in use and such attendants shall be capable <br />swimmers, competent in life-saving methods and <br />resuscitation; provided, however, that this sub- <br />section(b) shall not be applicable to Family <br />Swimming Pools nor to Public Swimming Pools accessory <br />to an apartment house building. <br /> <br /> Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared <br />to be an emergency measure fcr the reasons stated in the pre- <br />amble hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of <br />two-thirds of all members elected to Council, it shall take <br />effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and appro- <br />val by the Mayor° <br /> <br />Adopted: <br /> <br />President <br /> <br />Approved: June <br /> <br />rk <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
