-2- <br /> <br />c. That. for reasons fully set forth in the <br />findings of the Board, the granting O~ the <br />variance is necessary for the reasonable use <br />of the land or building and that the variance <br />granted by the Board is the mini~m variance <br />that will accomplish this purpose; <br /> <br />do That the granting of the variance will be <br />in harmony with the general purpose and intent <br />of the ordinances of the City of Lakewood and <br />will not be injurious to the neighborhood or <br />otherwise detrimental to the public welfare; <br /> <br />4. To do and perform such other duties and functions <br />as may be imposed upon it by this Charter or the <br />ordinances or resolutions of Council. <br /> <br />The Board of Zoning Appeals shall have the power to <br />establish rules and regulations for its own procedure <br />not inconsistent with this section or ordinances or <br />resolutions of council°" <br /> <br />be submitted to a vote of the qualified electors of the City at <br />the general election to be held on Tuesday, the 8th day of <br />November, 1966, at the regular places of voting in the City <br />between the hours of 6:30 AoM. and 6:30 P.Mo <br /> <br /> Section 2. That the ballots for said election <br />shall, at the top thereof, be entitled, "City Charter Amendment <br />Ballot" and the question to be submitted on said ballot shall be <br />in words following: <br /> <br /> "Shall the proposed amendment of Article XVI, <br />Section 2 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood: <br /> <br />"It shall be the duty of the Board of Zoning Appeals: <br /> <br />1. To hear and decide appeals from any regulation, <br />order, decision, requirement, or determination made <br />by administrative officials or agents in the applica- <br />tion of ordinances governing zoning in the City of <br />Lakewood. <br /> <br />2. To hear and decide applications for special <br />exceptions, for any of the uses which, by ordinance, <br />require approval of the Board of Zoning Appeals. In <br />the granting of a special exception, the Board of <br />Zoning Appeals may prescribe such conditions and <br />safeguards as it deems necessary, d~sirable or <br />appropriate. <br /> <br />3. To hear and decide all appeals made for variances <br />in the application of ordinances governing zoning in <br />the City of Lakewood. <br /> <br /> <br />
