ORDINANCE I~Oo 58-66 BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Muffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward & Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE approving certain Change Orders in connection with the Contract for the construction of Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements° WHEREAS, Council has heretofore authorized the Director of Public Works to enter into an Agreement with Standard Electric Coo, for the construction of Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements, and WI~ER~AS, under the terms of such Agmeement, changes become necessary, and WHEREAS, the Council desires to take advantage of certain changes in Construction Agreement, and WHEREAS, the completion of the Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements is desirable at the earliest possible time, and WHEREAS, the adoption of this ordinance at the earliest possible time is necessary for the preservation of the public peace, property, health or safety and that it provides for -the usual daily operation of a Municipal Department, now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF OHIO~ Section 1o That the items described in Bulletin NOd 1 prepared by Woodruff and Associates, Consultants, be added to the contract hereinbefore entered into by the City with the Standard Electric Co° with reference to the construction of the Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements, Lakewood, Ohio and that the net cost of the Change Order contained in said Bulletin Nod 1 is in the amount of $19,832o83; that said additional construction has been in increased size and changes in design of equipment installed° Section 2o ~at the Director of Public Works is hereby authorized and directed to approve said Change Order° Section 3o ~at the net cost of such ~ange Order in the amount of $19,832.83 be financed out of the proceeds of the sale of the Sewage Treatment Plant Improvements Bonds~
