Compensation of said employees shall be paid from the <br />Hospital Fund on a hi-weekly basis as determined by the Finance Department <br />of the City of Lakewood. An hourly rate may be paid which, if multiplied by <br />the number of working hours in the week and by fifty-two (weeks), then divided <br />by twelve (months), amounts to a n~mthly rate which falls within the minimum <br />and mmw{mtm~ reuse of the proper job classification established in this ordiu- <br />anca. A daily rate may be established by multiplyin8 by eight any hourly <br />rate determined above. The normal work week shall be forty hours. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That all interns and residents shall be furnished hous- <br />ing, Blue Cross coverage, m~als and laundry, without charge; and that medical <br />technology students shall be furnished single semi-private Blue Cross and Blue <br />Shield coverage, without charge. <br /> <br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it re- <br />ceives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force October 9, 1966; and Ordinance No.34-65, <br />adopted April 19, 1965, and Ordinance No. 49-66, adopted May 16, 1966, and <br />all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be <br />and are hereby repealed. ~ <br /> <br />Adopted: :October ~; 1966 <br /> <br />Approved: October 4, 1966 <br /> <br />Charles S.
