Cain, Gaydos, ~uzzman, Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE Detroit Alley in the City of Lakewood, larly described. to vacate a portion of hereinafter more particu- WHEREAS, On the 3rd day of January, 1967, the Council of the City of Lakewood adopted Resolution NOo 4530, declaring its intention to vacate a portion of Detroit Alley, and, WHEREAS, Notice of the adoption of the above Resolution No. 4530 has been served upon the owners of all the property abutting upon that portion of Detroit Alley affected by said resolution, notifying the said property owners of the time and place at which objections can be heard before the Board of Revision of Assessments, and, WHEREAS, On the 16th day of January, 1967, the Board of Revision approved the vacation of the portion of Detroit Alley, hereinafter more particularly described, in accordance with the provisions of Article XIV, Section 28 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, and, WHEREAS, This Council is satisfied that there is good cause for vacating said portion of Detroit Alley and that it will not be detrimental to the general interest and ought to be made, and, WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual da ily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CItY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That the following described portion of Detroit Alley be and the same is hereby vacated: Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, being part of Original Rockport Township Section Noo 23 and being a strip of land 12 feet in width extending from Graber Drive easterly to the Easterly line of the Scenic Park Allotment as recorded in Volume 28, page 7 of Cuyahoga County Map Records, known as Detroit Alley, and further described as follows: Beginning at the southwesterly corner of Sublot No. 1 in the Scenic Park Allotment recorded as aforesaid, which point is in the easterly line of Graber Drive 50 feet wide (formerly Riverside Drive) distant 125 feet southerly from the South line of Detroit Avenue 66 feet wide. Thence from said place of beginning Easterly along the south line of said Sublot No. 1 and its. extension easterly 114o62 feet to the easterly line of said Scenic Park Allotment. Thence South along said easterly line 12 feet to the north- east corner of Sublot No. 2. Thence Westerly along the north line of Sublot NOo 2 114.43 feet to the Easterly line of Graber Drive. Thence Northerly along the Easterly line of Graber Drive 12 feet to the place of Beginning.
