ORDINANCE NO. 7-67 BY: Messrs. Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to vacate Summit Court in the City of Lakewoo~, hereinafter more particularly described. WHEREAS, On the 1st day of December, 1966, the Council of the City of Lakewood adopted Resolution No. 4525, declaring its intention to vacate Summit Court, and, WHEREAS, Notice of the adoption of the above Resolution NOo 4525 has been served upon the owners of all the property abutting Su~it Court affected by said resolution, notifying the said property owners of the time and place at which objections can be heard before the Board of Revision of Assessments, and, WHEREAS, On the 16th day of January, 1967, the Board of Revision approved the vacation of Summit Court, hereinafte more particularly described, in accordance with the provisions of Article XIV, Section 28 of the Amended Charter of the City of Lakewood, and, WHEREAS, This Council is satisfied that there is good cause for vacating Summit Court and that it will not be detrimental to the general interest and ought to be made, and, WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED B~ THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1o That the following described property be and the same is hereby vacated: Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga, State of Ohio, being part of Original Rockport Township Section No. 22 end being a strip of land 20 feet in width extending from Summit Avenue westerly to the west line of Barrett's Allotment as recorded in Volume 8, Page 30 of Cuyahoga~County Map Records, known as Summit Court, and furthek des6r~b~d as follows: Beginning at the Northeasterly corner of SUblot NO. 5 in Barrett'sAllotment, recorded as aforesaid, which point is in the Westerly line of Summit Avenue 60 feet wide, distant North along said Westerly line 257.00 feet from the Northerly line of Detroit Avenue 66 feet wide. Thence from said place of beginning Westerly along the North- erly line of said Sublot No. 5 and its extension westerly 241.00 feet to the northwesterly corner of Sublot No. 1 in said allotment° Thence North along the Westerly line of said allotment 20 feet to the Southwesterly corner of SublOt No. 6 in said Allotment. Thence Easterly along the South line of Sublot No. 6 241.00 fe to the Westerly line of Summit Avenue. Thence South along said Westerly line 20 feet to the place of beginning.
