ORDINANCE NO. 32-67 BY: l~ssrs. ~rd, Wendling Cain, Gaydos, Huffman, Kelley and Usher AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the Mayor, on behalf of the City of Lakewood, to purchase the certain real estate located at 2019 Carabel Avenue in the City of Lakewood, herein- after more particularly described. WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure in that the owners have agreed to sell said property for the consideration hereinafter stipulated which this Council deems to be in the best interest of the City and in that it provides for the public health and welfare and for the usual daily opera- tion of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO; Section 1. That the Mayor be, and he is hereby authorized to purchase from William W. Robinson and from the Executor of the Estate of Catherine E. Robinson, the following described property, together with Release of Dower, if any. 2019 Carabel Avenue OWNER: William W. Robinson and Catherine E. Robinson, deceased Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga and State of Ohio and known as being part of Sublots Nos. 81, 82 and 84 in The N. F. W. Bailey Re-Subdivision of part of Original Rockport Township Section No. 19, as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 58 of Maps, Page 23 of Cuyahoga County Records, and toge.ther forming a parcel of land bounded and described as follows; Beginning on the Easterly side of Carabel Avenue, at the Southwesterly corner of Sublot No. 84; thence Northerly along the Easterly side of Carabel Avenue, 40 feet to the South .westerly corner of a parcel of land conveyed to The Cleveland Trust Company by deed dated June 5, 1939 and re- corded in Volume 4963, Page 669 of Cuyahoga County Records; thence Easterly along the Southerly line of said parcel so conveyed, 134 feet to its intersection with the Northerly prolongation of an Easterly line of Sublot No. 84; thence Southerly along said Northerly prolongation and along said Easterly line of Sublot No. 84, 40 feet to the Southeasterly corner thereof; thence Westerly along the Southerly line of Sublot No. 84, 134 feet to the place of beginning, as appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but subject to all legal highways. and to pay therefore the sum of Twenty Nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00) o Section 2.
