Gaydos, Huffman, K~llcy, Usher, Ward, Wcndling Cain AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Sections 773.02, 773.04, 773.05, 773.06(a), 773.08(a), 773.08(b), 773.08(d), 773.08(e), 773.11, 773.12 and 773.15(d), inclusive, of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate protection of the public health and safety and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY TH~ COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 773.02 of the T~affic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now'reading as follows: Section 773.02 Bicycle Defined "Bicycle is hereby defined as a two-wheeled vehicle, pro- pelled with human power, having tandem arrangement of Wheels equipped with tires either of which is over twenty inches in diameter." be and the same is hereby amended %0 read as follows: Section~?73.02 Bicycle Defined Bicycle is hereby defined as a two-wheeled vehicle, pro- pelled with human power, hawing tandem arrangement of wheels equipped with tires either of which is sixteen inches or over in diameter. Section 2. That Section 773.04 of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as. follows: Section 773.04 License Required "No person, who resides within this community, shall ride or propel a bicycle upon any sidewalk, street, public path or public way set aside for the exclusive use of bicycles unless such bicycle has been licensed by the Chief of Police of this community and the license plate is attached thereto as provided herein.
