In the Division of Fire, Department of Public Safety, <br />Group 1 firemen shall consist of firemen who have conti~uously served in <br />the Division of Fire two (2) full years or who, in the judgment of the <br />Director of Public Safety, have acquired equivalent training and acquired <br />experience in the Division of Fire in some other city. Group 2 firemen <br />shall consist of fire~en who have served coutinuously in ghe Division of <br />Fire for more than one (i) year but less than two (2) years. Group 3 <br />firemen shsll conslst of fireme~ ~ko have served in the Division of Fire <br />for less than one (1) year. Provided: howeve% that there shall be no <br />increase in. salary to a fireman by reason of said grouping until certified <br />by the Director of Public Safety. <br /> <br /> Section 3. In the Division of Police, Department of Public Safety, <br />Croup 1 patrolmen shall consist of patrolmen who have continuously served <br />in the Division of Police two (2) full years or who, in the judgment of the <br />Director of Public Safety, have acquired equivalent training and acquired <br />experience in the Division of Police in some other city. Group 2 patrolmen <br />shall consist of patrolmen who have served continuously in the Division of <br />Police for more than one (1) year hut less than t~o (2) years. Group 3 <br />patrolmen shall consist of patrolmen who have served in the Division of <br />Police for less than one ~1) year. Provided, however, that there shall be <br />no increase in salary to any employee by reason of the said grouping until <br />certified by the Director of Public Safety. <br /> <br /> Section 4. Salary of the D~rector of Law shall cover all ordinary <br /> services, including legal advice and opinions as requested by Council, the <br /> Mayor, and the various departments, the drafting of ordinances and resolu- <br /> tions, attendance at Council meetings and the administration and supervision <br /> of the Law Department. The Law Director shg I receive additional profession~ <br /> al fees for the handling of any titigat~on involving the City of Lakewood, <br /> or other extraordinary services, such fees not to exceed the minimum fees <br /> prescribed by the minimum fee schedule of the Cuyahoga County Bar Associa- <br /> tion. <br /> <br /> <br />
