<br /> Section 2. Compensation of said employees shall be paid from the
<br />Hospital Fund on a bi-weekly bssis as determined by the Finance Department of
<br />the City of Lakewood. An hourly rate may be paid which, if multiplied by the
<br />number of working hours in the week and by fifty-two (weeks), then divided
<br />by twelve (months), amounts to a monthly rate ~ h falls within the minimum
<br />and maximum range of the proper job classification established in this ordin-
<br />ance. A daily rats may be established by multiplying by eight sr~f hen~]y
<br />rate determined above. The normal work week shall be forty hours.

<br /> Section 3. That all interns and residents shall be furnished
<br />housing, Blue Cross coverage, meals and laundry, without charge; and that
<br />medical technology students shall be furnished single semi-private Blue Cross
<br />and Blue Shiled coverage without charge.

<br /> Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared ~o 5e an emer-
<br />gency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and~ provided
<br />if~eceives the affirmative ~ote of two-thirds of all members elected to
<br />Council.,-and approval by the Mayor, it shall take effect and be in force
<br />OctobeN 8; !967; and Ordinance No. 75-66 adopted 0ctober 3, 1966, and all
<br />Other ordina~eM or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be and
<br />are hereby repealed.
