ORDINANCE NO. 72-67 BY: Messrs, Huffman, Kelley, Usher, War~ <br /> Weudling, Cain, Gaydos <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for expenditmres <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31, 1967. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of <br />the public properCy~ health and safety and to provide for the usual daily <br />operation of municipal departments; now,therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the General Fund: <br /> <br />0192300 Fire Department 11,300 <br />0193500 Health Department 1,000 <br />0194400 Refuse Division 20,000 <br />0195100 Sidewalks 700 <br />0196000 Parks Department 21,000 <br />0196400 Street Trees 17,000 <br />0199100 Refunds .25Q <br /> <br />Total 71,250 <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Water Fund $15,000. <br /> <br />Section 3. That there be appropriated from the Sewage Disposal Operating <br />Fund $25,000. <br /> <br />Section 4. That the Director of Finance be and is hereby authorized to draw <br />checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this <br />ordinance wheneve~ elaims are presented properly approved by the head of <br />the department for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the <br />President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 5. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two thirds of all members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: ....
