ORDINANCE NO. 73-67 BY~ <br /> <br />~ssrs. Cain, Huffmen, Kelley, <br />Usher, Wendlin§ <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to make additional appropriations for~expeaditureS <br />of the City of Lakewood, State of Ohio, for the fiscal year ending <br />December 31~ 1967. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation of <br />the public property, health and safety and to provide for the usual <br />daily operation of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE ~OUECIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD~ STATE OF '0HIO; <br /> <br />Section 1. That there be appropriated from the Hospital Fund $120,000. <br /> <br />Section 2. That there be appropriated from the Street construction, <br />Maintenance andRepair Fund $10,O00. <br /> <br />Section 3. That the Dlrector of Finance be and is hereby authorized t~ <br />draw checks upon the City depositories for the amounts appropriated in this <br />ordinance whenever claims are presented properly approved by the head of <br />the departmen~ for which the indebtedness is incurred, providing the <br />President of Council shall approve all claims of the City Council. <br /> <br />Section 4. That this ~rdinance is hereby-declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated i~ the preamble, and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote of two thirds of a~l members elected to Council, it <br />shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and approval <br />by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted: December 29. 1967 ~harles S~ Huffman,.Jr. <br /> President <br /> <br />Approved:pecember .2~ .196~ Grace Reynolds <br /> <br />Clerk <br /> <br />Robert.S..
