Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Ward, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to enact new Section 129.55 of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood <br />designating the required signatures to permi~ funds of the City of <br />Lakewood to be withdrawn and/or transferred by check or other instrument <br />from depository accounts authorized and maintained by the City. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the daily operation of a municipal department; ~ow, <br />therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br />OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the Administrative Code of the Codified <br />Ordinances of the City of Lakewood be and the same is hereby supplemented <br />by enacting a new Section 129.55 to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 129.55 Withdrawing Funds - Authorized Signatures <br />The Funds of the City of Lakewood in depository accounts <br />which have been authorized and are maintained by the <br />City, may be withdrawn from such accounts by checks and/or <br />other instruments issued in the name of this Municipality <br />upon the signature of one of the following officers or <br />employees of the City of Lakewood: The DireCtor of Finance <br />or the AssiStant Director of Finance. <br /> <br /> Section 2.. That the Director of Finance is hereby authorized <br />and directed to cause to be executed, the appr6Priate bank resolutions <br />as may be necessary to carry out the terms and conditions of this <br />ordinance. <br /> <br /> Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and <br />provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br />elected to Council, it shall toke effect and be in force immediately <br />upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:..
