Wendling, Gaydos <br /> <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE authorizing the closing of certain funds <br />and transfer of balances to the appropriate funds set forth herein: <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an emergency exists to provide for the immediate preservation <br />of the public property, health and safety and the usual daily operation <br />of municipal departments; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That the Director of Finance be, and he is hereby authorized <br />to close the following funds, transferring the balances on hand as <br />sho~n: <br /> <br />FROM APPROPRIATIONS: <br /> <br />0821100 Lakefront Road Improvement $ 2,500.86 <br />0221100 Poor Relief ~,004.07 <br /> 3,504.93 <br /> <br />TO GENERAL FUND: <br /> <br />0121100 3,504.93 <br /> <br />FROM APPROPRIATION: <br /> <br />4121100 Breakwall Improvement 1,682.33 <br /> <br />TO APPROPRIATION: <br /> <br /> Bond Retirement -General <br /> <br />1,682.33 <br /> <br />Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it <br />receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to <br />Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its <br />adoption and approval by the Mayor. <br /> <br />Adopted:March 4, 1968 <br /> <br />Robert E.
