Gaydos, Graber, <br /> Huffman, [(elley, Usher, Ward & <br /> Wendling <br />AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE directing the appropriation of certain real property <br />at and known as being 1384-88 Sloane Avenue, 1392 Sloane Avenue and 18812-14 <br />Bridge Approach all in the City of Lakewood, Ohio, to proceed pursuant to <br />the Urban Renewal Plan for the Sloane Avenue Redevelopment Area Urban <br />Renewal Project. <br /> <br />WHEREAS, on the 5th day of February, 1968, the Council of the City of Lakewood, <br />Ohio, adopted Resolution No, 4611 declaring the necessity and intent to <br />appropriate the fee simple absolute estate in the real property hereinafter <br />described, notice of adoption of which resolution has been served on each <br />owner of, each person in possession of and each person having an interest of <br />record in said real property, and, <br /> <br />WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />health, safety, morals and general welfare of the public and for the usual <br />daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOCD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. That this Council hereby determines and directs the appropriation <br />of the fee simple absolute estate in and.~to the following described real <br />pr0Perty to proceed for the public purpose of eliminating conditions of <br />blight and preventing the recurrence thereof by executing and implementing <br />the Urban Renewal~Planfor the Sloane Avenue Redevelopment Area Urban <br />Renewal Project, including the sale and/cc clearance and sale by the City <br />for redevelopment pursuant to the Urban Renewal Plan. Such real property <br />is described as follows: <br /> <br />1384-88 $1oane Avenue <br />Permanent Parcel No. 311-14-39 <br />Owners: Israel D. and Eva Rogolsky <br /> <br />Situated in the City of Lakewood, County of Cuyahoga and State <br />of Ohio and known as being part of Sublot No. 49 and part of <br />Block A in the Mathews and Gilbert High Bridge Park Subdivision <br />No. 4 of part of Original Rockport Township Section No. <br />as shown by the recorded plat in Volume 30 of Maps, Page 10 of <br />Cuyahoga County Records, and together forming a parcel of land <br />bounded and described as follows: <br /> <br />Beginning on the Westerly line of Sloane Avenue, at the South- <br />easterly corner of said Sublot No. 49; thence Northerly along <br />the Westerly line of Sloane Avenue, 45 feet to the Northeasterly <br />corner of said Sublot No. 49; thence Westerly along the <br />Northerly line of Sublot No. 49, to the Northeasterly corner of <br />land conveyed to Edward L. Krumreig by deed dated June 3, 1954 <br />and recorded in Volume 8055, Page 687 of Cuyahoga County <br />Records; thence Southwesterly along the Southeasterly line of <br />land so conveyed, to the Northeasterly line of land conveyed to <br />the County of Cuyahoga by deed dated September I, 1908 and <br />recorded in Volume 1169, Page 160 of Cuyahoga County Records; <br />thence Southeasterly along the Northeasterly line of land so <br />conveyed~ 73.50 feet to the Northwesterly line of Sublot No. 50 <br />in said High Bridge Park Subdivision; thence Northeasterly along <br />the Northwesterly line of Sublot No. 50, 34 feet to the Southerly <br />line of Sublot No. 49, as aforesaid; thence Easterly along the <br />Southerly line of Sublot No. 49, 90 feet to the place of begin- <br />ning, as appears by said plat, be the same more or less, but <br />subject to all legal highways and ezcepting those interests in <br />such real estate owned by the State of Ohio° <br /> <br /> <br />
