Student Section 2. Compensation of said employees shall be paid from the Hospital Fund on a bi-weekly basis as determined by the Finance Department of the City of Lakewood. An hourly rate may be paid which, if multiplied by the number of working hours in the week and by fifty-two (weeks), then divided by twelve (months), amounts to a monthly rate which falls within the minimum and maximum range of the proper job classification established in this ordinance. A daily rate may be established by multiplying by eight any hourly rate determined above. The normal work week shall be forty hours. Section 3. That all interns and residents shall be furnished housing, Blue Cross coverage, meals and laundry, without charge; and that medical technology students shall be furnished single semi-prive Blue Cross and Blue Shield ' coverage without charge. Section 4. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and, provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, and approval by the Mayor, it shall take effect and be in force as of November 17, 1968; and Ordinance 60-67 adopted October 2, 1967, and all other ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith shall be and are hereby repealed.
