ORDINANCE NO. 12-69 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling~ <br /> Gaydos, Graber, Hu. ffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 149.15(b) of the <br />Administrative Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of <br />Lakewood relating to payment by the City of Lakewood of certain <br />sums toward employees' hospitalization coverage. <br /> WHEREAS, This Council deems it to be in the best interest <br />of the City to provide for this participation in the medical and <br />hospital protection plans of the City employees, and, <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br /> providing for the usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br /> now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br /> STATE OF OHIO: <br /> Section 1o That Section 149.15(b) of the Administrative <br /> Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br /> reading as follows: <br /> Section 149.15 City's Share of' Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> "(b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br /> out of City funds up to ten dollars ($10.00) per month <br /> toward hospitalization coverage of each full-time <br /> employee in the Divisions of Police and Fire, payable <br /> monthly or semi-annually, at the discretion of the <br /> Director of Finance." <br /> be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> Section.149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization InsUrance. <br /> ~b) The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br /> out of City funds up to twenty-five dollars ($25.00) <br /> per month toward hospitalization coverage of each member <br /> of the Divisions of, Police and Fire, payable monthly or <br /> semi'annually, at the discretion of the Director of <br /> Finance. <br /> Section 2.
