Section 149.08(b) of the Adm.il]ist~-ative <br />Code of t]'le Codified Ordinances of the City of Lake',.;ood no;.,, reading <br />as follows: , <br /> <br />Sect].on 149.08(b) Vacations <br /> <br /> (b) Vacation time shall be earned in one calendar year <br /> and taken in a subsequent calendar year and shall be pro- <br /> rated in accordance wit]] the tables et fort]] in subsection <br /> (a) above. However, all full-time permanent employees of <br /> the City who have completed ten years of service by June 1 <br /> of any given year shall be entitled to three weeks' vacation <br /> in that year and all subsequent years of emplo3rment, provided <br /> further that all full-time, permanent employees, except <br /> employees of the Divisions of Police and Fire, who have completed <br /> fifteen years of service by June 1 of any given year shall be <br /> entitled to four weeks' vacation in that year and all subsequent <br /> years of employment. <br /> <br />Al)prow,(]: <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to <br />be an emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble <br />hereof and provided it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds <br />of all members elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in <br />force immediately upon its adop~J, on and approval by the Mayor and <br />existing Section 149.0S(b), adopted February 17, 1969, and all other <br />ordinances or parts of ordinances inconsistent here%./ith shall be <br />and a~e here~ repealed. <br /> <br /> .
