ORDINANCE NO. <br /> <br />75-69 BY: <br /> <br />Messrs. Graber, HUffman, Kelley, <br />Usher, Ward, Wendling, Gaydos <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend eXisting Section 1 <br />of Ordinance No. 40-60, adopted June 20, 1960, relating to <br />allowance of cost of transportation to employees in the <br />performance of duties and repealing Section 1 of Ordinance <br />No. 4~-60. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This Council deems it advisable t° increase <br />the allowance of the cost of transportation of the employees <br />in the performance of their duties, and, <br /> <br /> W/qEREAS, The duties performed by the Assistant Building <br />Conumissioner in the Building Department necessitate the use by <br />the said Assistant Building Conunissioner of his private auto- <br />mobile, and, <br /> <br /> W~IEtLEAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the usual daily operation of a municipal depart- <br />ment and it provides for the inunediate preservation of the public <br />health and safety; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAtCEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 1 of Ordinance No. 40-60, now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br /> "Section 1. That in addition to such salary or compen- <br /> · sation as may be provided by any other ordinance, there <br /> shall be paid the stun of $40.00 per month to the indivi- <br /> dual employees holding the positions hereinafter desig- <br /> nated, and who are not furnished with city owned vehicles <br /> for use in the perfornkance'of the duties of their <br /> position: <br /> <br />a) <br /> <br />s) <br />c) <br />n) <br /> <br />Assistant inspectors of buildings in the division of <br />building inspection; <br />Visiting nurses, in the division' of health; <br />Sanitary officers, in the division of health; <br />Assistant health officer, in the division of health, <br />who devotes full time to the duties of the position; <br />Sidewalk Inspectors while devoting time to inspection <br />of sidewalks; and <br />Health Conunissioner in the division of health." <br /> <br />and the same is hereby amended to read: <br /> <br />Sectio~ 1. That in addition to such salary or compensa- <br />tion as may be provided by any other ordinance, there <br />shall be paid the sum of $60.00 per month to the <br />individual employees holding the positions hereinafter <br />designated, and who are not furnished with city-owned <br />vehicles for use in the performance of the duties of <br />their positipn: <br /> <br />A) Assistant Building ConUnissioner and Building <br /> Inspectors; <br />B) Visiting nurses, in the Division of Health; <br />C) Sanitary officers in the Division of IIealth; <br />D) Sidewalk Inspectors, while devoting time to inspection <br /> of sidewalks, and, <br />E) Health Commissioner in the Division of Health. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br />emergency measure for the reasons stated in. the preamble hereof, and <br /> <br /> <br />
