RGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Sections 149.15 (b) and <br />149.15 (c) of the Administrative Code of the Codified <br />of the City of Lakewood relating to payment by the City of L,-tkcwood <br />of certain sums toward employees' hospitalization covera-je. <br /> <br /> WI~REAS, This .Council deem~ it to be in the best 'interest <br />of the City to provide for this participation in the medical and <br />hospital protection plans of the City employees, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the.usual daily operation of municipal departments; <br />now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY TH~ COUNCIL OF TtlE CITY OF LAIQ.;WOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section' 1. That Section 149.15 (b) of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />Section 1.49.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is'hereby authorized to pay <br />out of City funds up to twenty-five dollars ($25.03) <br />per month toward hospitalization coverage of each <br />member of the Divisions of Police and Fire, payable <br />monthly or semi-annually, at the discretion of the <br />Director of Finance. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.15 City's Share of Hospitalization Insurance. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />The Director of Finance is hereby authorized to pay <br />out of City funds up to twenty-five dollars ($25.00) <br />per month toward hospitalization coverage of each <br />member of the Division of Fire and thirty dollars <br />($30.00) per month toward hospitalization coverage <br />of each member of the Division of Police, payable <br />monthly or semi-annually, at the discretion of the <br />Director of Finance. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
