' f <br /> as ovidIln <br />WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency me ure pr ' ~ g <br />for the usual daily Operation of a municipal department in that !in the <br />interest of public service, welfare and safety,.~it is necessary 'to fix <br />the compensation of employees; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br />Section 1. Positions ar'e hereby created and the compensation of annual, <br />salaried employees in the several departments and divisions of the City <br />of Lakewood shall be as follows, commencing June 14, 1970. <br /> <br />MAYOR'S OFFICE <br /> <br /> Administrative Assistant <br /> <br />$6,955 <br /> <br />FINANCE DEPARTMENT <br /> <br /> Assistant Tax Administrator <br /> <br />$1,605 <br /> <br />Section 2.' That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency <br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and provided it receives <br />the affirmative vote~of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, <br />it shall take effect and be in force immediately upon its adoption and <br />approval by the Mayor; and Ordinance No. 7-70 adopted February 7, 1970 <br />is hereby amended. <br /> <br />Approved :~ ~/~27~ <br /> <br />President / <br /> <br /> <br />
