ORDINANCE NO. 33-70 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Usher Ward, Wendling, Gaydos Graber AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 313.01(a) of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lake- wood relating to through highways in the City of Lakewood. WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safety aHd welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: Section 1. That Section 313.01(a) of the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as follows: Section 313.01(a) Through Highways Ail state routes and all sections of streets on which are operated motor coaches or buses for carrying pas- sengers for hire along a fixed or regular route under authority granted by the City of Lakewood, and the following named streets and parts of'streets: Franklin Boulevard from Warren Road east to Highland Avenue; Hilliard Road; Riverside Drive from Detroit Avenue south to the City of Cleveland; Delaware Avenue; and Lakewood Hts.' Boulevard; are hereby designated as through highways provided that stop signs shall be erected by the Director of Public Safety at all intersections with such through highways excepting those intersections otherwise designated hereinafter as.stop intersections; provided, however, that where two or more through highways inter- sect and no traffic control signal is in operation stop signs' shall be erected at one or more entrances thereto by the Director of Public Safety. be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: Section 313.01 (a) Through Highways Ail state routes and'all sections of streets on which are operated motor Coaches or buses for carrying pas- sengers for hire along a fixed or regular route under authority granted by the City of Lakewood, and the following named streets and parts of ~treets: Franklin Boulevard from Warren Road east. to Highland Avenue; Hilliard Road; Riverside Drive from Detroit Avenue south to the City of Cleveland; Delaware Avenue; and Lakewood Hts..
