ORDINANCE NO. 59-70 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Kelley, Usher, Ward, Wendling, <br /> Gaydos, Graber, Huffman <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to repeal Section 331.42 of <br />the Traffic Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood <br />relating to the locking of motor vehicles so as to prevent the <br />towing and moving of same. ~ <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, This ordinance constitutes an emergency measure <br />providing for the immediate preservation of the public health, safe- <br />ty and welfare and for the usual daily operation of a municipal <br />department; now, therefore, <br /> <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, <br />STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1.' That Section 331.42, LOCKING, of the Traffic <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now <br />reading as follows: <br /> <br />331.42 LOCKING <br /> <br />No person shall lock anY vehicle, except a bicycle, <br />or otherwise prevent its movement or locomotion in <br />such manner as to prevent the towing or moving the <br />same when necessary by the Police or Fire Division. <br />The locking of the wheels of vehicles shall be deem- <br />.ed a violation of this section. <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby repealed. <br /> <br /> Section 2.
