<br />BE IT ORDAINED BY 'rile COUNCIL OF TIIE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OllIO:
<br />
<br />Section 1. That tile rate of compensation of all persons employed as
<br />school crossing guards be and the same are hereby established as fol].ows:
<br />
<br />l)
<br />
<br />Persons with less than one year of continuous service as
<br />school crossing guards.
<br />
<br />'a) For duty during both morning and afternoon school
<br /> sessions in any one day, $8.50.
<br />
<br />b) For duty during eithe'r the morning or afternoon school
<br /> sessions in any one day, $4.25.
<br />
<br />c)
<br />
<br />For any duty in any day in excess of that provided in a)
<br />hereof, or for any duty in any one day less than that
<br />provided in b) hereof, $2.00.
<br />
<br />2) persons with. one or more years of continuous service as school
<br /> crossing guards°
<br />
<br />a) For duty during both morning and afternoon school sessions
<br /> in any one day, $10.50.
<br />
<br />b) For duty during either the morning or afternoon school
<br /> sessions in any one d~y, $5.25.
<br />
<br />c) For.any duty in any one day in excess of that provided in a)
<br /> hereof, or.for any duty in any one day less than that provided
<br /> in b)~ hereof, $2.00.
<br />
<br />Section 2. Ail compensation shall be payable in equal installments every
<br />two weeks.
<br />
<br />Section 3. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an emergency ordinance
<br />for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof, and provided it receives the
<br />affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members elected to Council, and upon
<br />approval by the Nayor, it shall take effect and be in force February 7, 1971,
<br />and that Ordinance Naa 69-66, adopted October 4, 1966, and all other ordinances
<br />or parts of ordinances inconsistent herewith, shall be and are hereby repealed.
