be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />(a) D~finit~ons. <br /> (1) "Full-time permanent employees", as used in <br /> this section, excludes elected officials, dir- <br /> ectors of departments and hospital employees, <br /> and includes those defined tn Section 149.01(e) <br /> and (i). <br /> <br />(2) <br /> <br />"Year", as used in this section means the period <br /> running from any date on the calendar year to the <br /> next corresponding date on the calendar for the <br /> next succeeding year. <br /> <br />(b) Division of Fire. Full-time permanent employees of <br /> the Dzvision of Fire shall be paid, zn addition to <br /> such salary or compensation that may be provided by <br /> any other ordinance, additional compensation based on <br /> the number of continuous full years of service, in- <br /> cluding interim military servzce,~ as determined on <br /> the dates of June 15 and December 15 of each year in <br /> accordance with the following schedule: <br /> (1) For five years through n'ine years of service $50.00 <br /> (2) For ten years through fourteen years of service 75.00 <br /> (3) For fifteen years or longer ................ 100.00 <br /> <br />(c) Division of Police. Full-time permanent employees of <br /> the Diviszon of Police shall be paid, in addition to <br /> such salary or compensation that may be provided by <br /> any other ordinance, additional compensation based on <br /> the number of continuous full years of service, in- <br /> cluding interim military service, as determined on the <br /> dates of June 15 and December 15 of each year in <br /> accordance with the following schedule: <br /> (1) For five years through nine years of service $ 75.C <br /> (2) For ten years through fourteen years of service 100.O <br /> (3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service i25.f <br /> (4) For twenty years or more ................... 150.0 <br /> <br />(d) Other Full-Time Employees. Ail other full-time permanent <br /> employees of the City shall be paid, in addition to such <br /> salary or compensation that may be provided by any other <br /> ordinance, additional compensation based on the number <br /> of continuous full years of service, including interim <br /> military serv].ce, as determined on the dates of June 15 <br /> and December 15 of each year in accordance with the <br /> following schedule: <br /> (1) For five years through nine years of servzce $ 75.[ <br /> (2) For ten years through ~fourteen years of service 100.C <br /> (3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service 125.2 <br /> (4) For twenty years or more .................... 150.'7 <br /> <br />(e) Pro Rata Amount.
