ORDINANCE NO. ~1-71 BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, <br /> Wendling, Gaydos, Graber, <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE to amend Section 149.07 (b) of the Administrative <br />Code of the Codified Ordinances of the City of.Lakewood relating to longevity <br />compensation for members of the Division of Fire of the City of Lakewood effective <br />and commencing May 30, 1971. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure providing for the <br />usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> <br />BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That Section 149.07 (b) of theAdministrative Code of the <br />Codified Ordinances of the City of Lakewood, now reading as foll'ows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Division of Fire. Full-time permanent employees of the Division of <br />Fire shall be paid, in addition to such salary or compensation that <br />may be provided by any other ordinance,.additional compensation <br />based on the number of continuous full years of service, including <br />interim military service, as determined on the dates of June 15 and <br />December 15 of each year in accordance with the following schedule: <br /> <br />(1) For five years through nine years of service .... ' .... <br />(2) For ten years through fourteen years of service ..... <br />(3) For fifteen years longer ' <br /> <br />$50.00 <br /> 75.00 <br />100.00 <br /> <br />be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: <br /> <br />Section 149.07 LONGEVITY COMPENSATION. <br /> <br />(b) <br /> <br />Division of Fire° Full-time permanent employees of the Division of <br />Fire shall be paid, in addition to such salary or compensation that <br />may be provided by any other ordinance, additional compensation based <br />on the number of continuous full years of service, including interim <br />military service, as determined on the dates of June 15 and December <br />15 of each year in accordance with the:following schedule: <br /> <br />(1) For five years through nine years of service ............ <br />(2) For ten years through fourteen years of service ......... <br />(3) For fifteen years through nineteen years of service ..... <br />(4) For twenty years or more ................................ <br /> <br />$75.00 <br />100.00 <br />125.00 <br />150.00 <br /> <br /> Section 2.
