ORDINANCE NO. 69-71 <br /> <br />BY: Messrs. Huffman, Kelley, Usher, Wa. rd, <br /> Wendling, Gaydos, Graber <br /> <br /> AN EMERGENCY ORDINANCE accepting the dedication of Gold Coast <br />Lane from Lake Avenue northerly approximately two hundred feet (200 feet) <br />to its end. <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, it is considered in the public interest to cause Gold <br />Coast Lane to be accepted for public use, and <br /> 'WHEREAS, On May 4, 1970, this Council adopted Resolution No. 4773 <br />which approved the proposed street to be known as Gohi Coast Lane, as <br />shown on the replat plan of Permanent Parcel Number 312-8-23-24 of Cuyahoga <br />County Records, as approved by the Planning Commission, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, the improvement of Gold Coast Lane has been completed <br /> and the property owner has complied with all of the requirements on its <br /> part to be performed, and, <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, this ordinance constitutes an emergency measure pro- <br /> viding for the immediate preservation of the public property and for the <br /> usual daily operation of a municipal department; now, therefore, <br /> BE IT ORDAINED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAKEWOOD, STATE <br /> OF OHIO: <br /> <br /> Section 1. That the dedication of Gold Coast Lane from Lake <br />Avenue northerly approximately two hundred feet (200 feet) to its end as <br />shown by the plat of same recorded in Volume 206, of Maps, Page 63, of <br />.the Cuyahoga County Records, be and the same is hereby accepted and <br />~confirmed. <br /> <br /> Section 2. That this ordinance is hereby declared to be an <br /> emergency measure for the reasons stated in the preamble hereof and pro- <br /> viced it receives the affirmative vote of two-thirds of all members <br /> elected to Council, it shall take effect and be in force immediately <br /> upon its adoption and approval by the Mayor~ <br /> <br />- President. / <br /> <br />Mayor <br /> <br /> <br />
